How many times in life does one tidy up the sewing kit!? It's a mission only for the brave.
The things I keep in the drawers are like squatters. They live unaccountably, taking up a lot of space, doing as they please, spreading out freely. They know I'm not going to evict them (or that I'll think long and hard before doing so). In that case, threads and buttons would have time to greet each other like old friends. I think that's the secret to their relaxed living.
